Oxford Says Evolution Statistically Improbable

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so…And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.”… And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.”… Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness…    Genesis 1, selected verses

Oxford University researchers outlined the evolutionary steps needed to produce human beings.  The statisticians did their probability studies and came up with this answer:

…the evolution of intelligent life is ‘exceptionally rare’, and that human-like civilisations are extremely unlikely to exist on other planets.

The headline to the article paraphrased it this way:

We’re as good as it gets: Intelligent life is extremely UNLIKELY to exist anywhere else in the universe because it took a series of miracles for humans to evolve, say scientists

The probability study shows that, on its own, for evolution to produce man would take longer than the expected lifetime of earth.  The sun would go dark, and any life that might have tried to start would be snuffed out without the sun.

This study is actually a “twofer.”  First, it shows that evolution as described for us couldn’t happen within the projected lifetime of the planet, let alone to date.  In a bow to evolution theory, they still hold it to be true, but there must have been some pretty incredible transitions for us to have gotten where we are.

Second, the idea that there must be intelligent life out there is highly unlikely.  Oxford says that for another planet to have the same evolutionary “luck” that earth had is problematic at best.  It would take longer that any star would be expected to last.  Again, from the article:

‘Together with the dispersed timing of key evolutionary transitions and plausible priors, one can conclude that the expected transition times likely exceed the lifetime of Earth, perhaps by many orders of magnitude.

‘In turn, this suggests that intelligent life is likely to be exceptionally rare.’

In addition –

The team quote American evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould, who said that if the ‘tape of life’ were to be rerun, ‘the chance becomes vanishingly small that anything like human intelligence’ would occur.

‘What we added was a statistical approach that allows us to get estimates of just how unlikely the steps could be,’ Dr Sandberg told MailOnline.

Yes, that was a quotation from a real, evolutionary biologist, admitting his discipline might be in error.  He might not put it that way, but that’s the only reasonable conclusion to be drawn from his own words.

Part of the motivation for this study is an observation by the nuclear physicist, Enrico Fermi, who posited what is now called The Fermi Paradox.  Fermi was a theoretical physicist whose entire window to existence was math.  Everything had to be expressed as a balanced equation to be completely understood.

With his deep, mathematical background, Fermi asked why, given the estimated 200B to 400B stars in the universe, there has not been one sign of intelligent alien life.  Ever.  He thought it more than extraordinary that, given the opportunities for intelligent life to exist in so vast a universe, not one signal from another world had been received.  His conclusion was that there must be some sort of barrier that limits the rise of intelligent life.

That, of course, would be that God chose to create life on earth and nowhere else.  The rest of the universe was created to have “…lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.”    Genesis 1:14-15

I know.  People like to say that it’s human arrogance to think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe.  Let’s change that to “Humble Gratitude” that God would love us so much that He made every piece to accomplish what He wanted for us.

Secular scientists and atheists like to ridicule Christians for having too much faith in something they can’t see while ignoring good old science.  They think we are either too stupid or too obstinate to see what science tells us.

Meanwhile, they have too much faith in something – evolution – that their own science shows more and more to be nearly impossible.

A Chemical Big Bang?

Professing to be wise, they became fools.    Romans1:22

There are a lot of reasons why evolution doesn’t make sense.  First, there has never been a transitional creature found connecting humans to apes, the proverbial “missing link.”  Second, the fossil record makes no sense without The Flood happening.  How do so many animals die and get covered so quickly that they never even start to decompose unless there’s a catastrophic event?  Moreover, how is it that all the geologic layers are identical around the world if, again, there’s no global event?

I saw an interview years ago with an evolutionist.  The question that exposed him was if there has even been a creature discovered that had new genetic material.  We’re not talking about variation within a species, but something completely new.  The question is predicated on the fact that DNA is a huge amount of information, which can only be distorted by mutations, which invariably degrade information.

The evolutionist blanched and asked the camera to be turned off.

Or there’s Dr. Lyall Watson, famed anthropologist and evolution proponent who said, “The fossils that decorate our family tree are so scarce that there are still more scientists than specimens. The remarkable fact is that all of the physical evidence we have for human evolution can still be placed, with room to spare, inside a single coffin!”

Time magazine wrote in 1994 that “Yet despite more than a century of digging, the fossil record remains maddeningly sparse. With so few clues, even a single bone that doesn’t fit into the picture can upset everything. Virtually every major discovery has put deep cracks in the conventional wisdom and forced scientists to concoct new theories, amid furious debate.”  Concoct!!  HA!!

Forgetting complex plants and animals, where did that very first cellular life come from?  The answer has always been that it came from some primordial goo and perhaps triggered some lightning.

It seems that science has been grasping at straws for decades, clinging to the theories that got them their Ph.D.’s.  It’s been argued that evolution takes more faith than believing in God what with all the improbable theories.

Imagine now our surprise when those scientists now change their tune – slightly – and propose the following theory:

“…it used to be that life evolved so slowly you couldn’t see it happening, and now it happened so fast we missed it!”

Um…

Very Complex!!

Ken Ham, founder of the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter, recently wrote about this in his blog.  The article he refers to says that there need to be three core systems for cellular life to exist, and they need to be present all together.  First, there must be a cell membrane to hold everything together.  Second, it must have the ability to metabolize.  Third, it must be able to reproduce.

You can’t have something that starts out with just one of those and hope the other pieces gradually evolve to go with it.  If any one of those three is missing, there’s no life.  Period.  Their new answer is…

A CHEMICAL BIG BANG!!

It’s like the story of Goldilocks.  She found the bear’s cottage and chose her porridge and bed based on the ones that were “just right.”  Some scientists are now saying that under the “just right” conditions, all three of these requirements for life must have just…happened.  Somehow.

From the article:

Of course, all this depends on the everything-first idea proving correct. Szostak’s protocells and the new biochemical insights have won over many researchers, but some pieces of the puzzle are still missing. Perhaps the most persuasive argument is that the simpler ideas don’t work. As is the case with many things in life, the beginning was probably more complicated than we had thought.

Here are two thoughts on that.  First, Occam’s Razor.  This is a generally held principles that, when given a choice of two explanations to explain all the facts, the simplest explanation tends to be the right one.  It’s applied in a wide range of disciplines, including medicine.  This long-held principle is turned on its head in this case.

Second, it seems that their basic argument in favor of this new theory is nothing more than “the old ones don’t work.”

If only they’d just accept God’s Word as the authority it is!  It would be so much simpler.  It would make so much sense!  If one of the conditions of life is the ability to reproduce, that requires DNA, which is an information package on how build a new, separate offspring.  Information can only come from some sort of intelligence.  God is the likely candidate.

Of course, if they accepted that, they’d have to get another job!

Darwin Can’t Explain the Origin of Species

Creation MuseumKen Ham of the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter recently published an article about a Yale professor writing that Darwin got it wrong so far as evolution goes.

Ham writes that David Gelernter, a highly credentialed professor of computer science at Yale, concludes that “…his readings and discussions of Darwinian evolution and its competing theories, namely intelligent design, have convinced him Darwin had it wrong.” He calls it a “beautiful idea” that has been disproven by science.”

What’s interesting is that Gelernter is not a Christian, nor does he subscribe to creationism. Here’s what he has learned:

You take your life in your hands to challenge [evolution] intellectually. They will destroy you if you challenge it. . . What I have seen in their behavior intellectually and at colleges across the West is nothing approaching free speech on this topic. It’s a bitter, fundamental, angry, outraged rejection [of intelligent design], which comes nowhere near scientific or intellectual discussion. I’ve seen that happen again and again. . . I am attacking their religion and I don’t blame them for being all head up, it is a big issue for them.

Gelernter correctly concludes that Darwin does a great job of explaining how many species have adapted to their environment, but he does not explain how ne species come to be. He challenges Darwin’s theory to explain the Cambrian Explosion.

According to geology and evolution scientists, the Cambrian Period of the geologic record shows a lot of new species that merely drop in with no record of a previous version that they came from. That goes against evolution.

Ark EncounterThe Bible, of course, explains what we see; the geologic layers were laid down in order during the various stages of Noah’s Flood. The Cambrian layer shows what happened toward the start of the Flood; many non-aquatic animals drowned and were buried quickly. Gelernter’s logic, though, pokes a huge hole in Darwin’s theory within the framework of current established science.

As stated above, Gelernter is not a creationist and not even close to buying intelligent design, writing, “the world a mess, its suffering far outweighs its goodness.” His observation is a good starting place in evaluating intelligent design vs. creationism.

Genesis explains how everything came to be. It also tells us the events that brought sin into the world, making it such a mess! Finally, the Bible also explains how there will be a happy ending to all of the trials we now endure.

No Excuses!

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,    Romans 1:20 NKJV

Let’s get back to basics. God made everything that exists, and He did it through Jesus per John 1:1-5:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend[a] it.

This is clearly a world that did not happen by accident. From the microscopic to farther than we can see with our best telescopes, the universe is a thing of such complexity that an open-eyed look at any piece of it screams “Intelligent Design!”

Cell_to_Body

All Had to Happen at Once!

I reviewed a book last year, DNA: Pirates of the Sacred Spiral.  Click on the title to see a recap on the series.  Our bodies are an amazing piece of electrochemical engineering.  Once you learn how independent structures within cells and between cells operate, you’ll understand that all of these independent yet smoothly interacting components cannot have happened by evolutionary chance.  Each component would have had to randomly evolve in synchronicity with each other to validate its worth and be “accepted” by evolution.  It is mathematically impossible!

human-cell

Just ONE Cell!

earth-and-moon-wallpaper-147

The earth is in a very precise orbit which allows life here. The moon also is part of our system, controlling tides as it orbits earth.  We spin.  The moon doesn’t.  How does that happen if everything comes out of a swirling mass?  Did the moon just independently decide to put on the brakes against that momentum or did Someone decide this system works better with a non-revolving moon?Water

Speaking of tides, water is a miracle in itself. Why is it that everything in the universe contracts when cold and expands when hot…except water?  Why would there be one substance in all of creation that behaves contrarily to every other type of matter in existence?  If it didn’t have these and other properties, life on earth would be impossible.

WaterUnversalSolventWater is often called the Universal Solvent; H2O. That’s one oxygen molecule with two hydrogen molecules.  They bond together in such a way that one end of a water molecule has a negative charge, the other end a positive charge.  Water is essentially positive and negative, enabling it to latch onto almost anything.

water_cycle_usgs_big

Planet-Wide Sprinkler System

But water is so common we take it for granted in the grand scheme of things. It is the “oil” to the “engine” of earth.  It’s what keeps the planet alive.  Only a very special substance can do that!  We simply fail to see it, because we’re so used to it!

Our cells, us, earth, our solar system, and the universe are so complex that it cannot have happened by chance. These are God’s fingerprints all around us!  That is why we are without excuse if, in light of creation, we refuse to recognize those prints and choose the lies of men and their Father of Lies, Satan.

Free yourself from believing the lies of the ruler of this world, the Devil. Don’t listen to them, listen to God!  Listen to what His creation is telling all of us; there is a Designer, an Originator of all that exists.

See my recent article Evolution and the Geologic Record for some more info and insight into Creation and the evidence that surrounds us.

Just take a real, hard look at the facts for yourself and see if what the evolutionists are telling you really does make sense or not.

Take look at the world around you, at all of God’s finger prints all over Creation.  How could all that we are and live in be a cosmic accident?

Evolution and the Geologic Record

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.     Genesis 1

Is the earth billions of years old? Or is the earth, based on biblical chronologies, more like 8000-10,000 years old?  Is creation by God without evolution a fact?  Well, I’m a Christian blogger.  Reading this entry is like going to see Titanic: You know how it’s going to end, but you might find path worth walking.

Like all college undergrads, I had to fulfill a doggone science requirement. I stumbled into geology and found it interesting enough to  stay with it until I had my required hours in.  My historical geology course ended with a 1-question final exam: List all of the geologic periods in order, complete with hand-drawn maps of North America of each period and the major climate, flora, and fauna characteristics of each.  Yeah, it was a booger of an exam…WHICH I ACED!! Point being, I knew my poo.

So I think I’ve got a few chops to write this entry.

In the book “Coming to Grips with Genesis” by Terry Mortenson, PhD. and Thane H. Ury, PhD., the authors do not dispute that there is a fossil record. They do dispute what the record means.  They don’t think it means evolution is the explanation.  The book spends time slowing down our thought process to make sure we distinguish between facts and what someone thinks those facts mean.

So the question I bring to this moment is whether the geologic record is a fact of evolution, or is it something that exists for another reason or reasons? Other facts?

Let me start by referring to “Blink: The Art of Thinking Without Thinking” by Malcolm Gladwell. Mr. Gladwell documents the leap the mind can often take, where something suddenly makes sense to you.  You “know” something without necessarily knowing how you know it.  Know what I mean?  I personally started calling it the “snick” when something suddenly comes into focus like when you’re getting your eyes checked.  The optometrist asks if the image is better like this or (snick) like this, as he clicks another lens into place.

So what “snicked” for me?

First, during my study of historical geology I was never quite comfortable with the geologic record. I just couldn’t reconcile how it could exist as it does with, I don’t know, some nagging, yet unclear reason in my mind.  I couldn’t see in my mind’s eye how such a prolific number of creatures could be preserved in the fossil record the way geologists explained it: animals died, lay where they fell, and were slowly covered by sediments for us to discover billions of years later.  Does that sound kinda iffy to you like it does me?  Hold that thought.

Bigfoot critics like to point out that no one has ever found a bigfoot carcass, so there couldn’t possibly be a Bigfoot. And you can make that argument for any exotic, supposed-to-be creature; chupacabra, Queensland Tiger of Australia, the coelacanth, or…fill in your own blank.  Makes sense, right?  Then I hear a park ranger from the Pacific Northwest admit he’d never seen a bear carcass in all his years in the wilderness.  Does that mean there are no bears?  Of course not.  However, the pivotal point for this discussion is why no bear bodies?  Think of a dead bear as a smorgasbord.  Lots of hungry critters eat him up.  Hm.

I remember seeing a National Geographic special about the ocean floor, which is a pretty desolate place. Just a lot of flat sandy floor with an occasional rock or boulder.  They come across the leftovers of a whale carcass.  The soft tissue has all been pretty well cleaned off by carnivores and scavengers.  There’s little bone and cartilage remaining, but the smallest scavengers and boring worms were going to finish it up pretty soon.

When Robert Ballard discovered the Titanic wreck, he had pictures that puzzled him, pictures of shoes and boots lying alone in pairs on the ocean floor. He suddenly realized that the bodies of the wearers were literally eaten of their footwear bones and all, leaving shoes to mark their owners’ final resting place.

Where did the experts say the fossil record comes from? Animals that died and just laid there unbothered until they were covered by sediment which became geologic layers of rock?  Hm again.

So one day I’m at the Creation Museum near Cincinnati with my wife, and I get to an exhibit about – you guessed it – geology. It showed a picture of the scarred land shortly after the Mt. Saint Helens explosion in 1980.  The mudslides and erosion looked just like another picture next to it: the Badlands.  The Badlands look exactly like the Mount Saint Helen’s landscape, but, of course, MUCH bigger!  What in the world would cause…?  Holy erosion, Batman!  The Flood!  The biblical Flood with Noah!

The flood did not last 40 days as many people incorrectly state. The flood kept coming for forty days, Gen 7:17.  I calculated the timeline provided in Genesis 8 using a 30-day month and came up with 372 days, start to finish, before the earth was dry and God called Noah and family out of the ark.  Over a year.  For water covering the whole earth to drain into a whole new configuration.  That’s some huge drainage.  Happening pretty fast.  The kind of thing that could cause the Badlands and the Grand Canyon kinda quick-like.

The exhibit posited that the erosion we see everywhere on earth happened very fast in the Flood, not over millions of years. That kind of flow and the underwater avalanches that had to happen would explain the rich geologic record.  Their theory, their interpretation of the facts of the geologic record brought my misgivings about the fossil record into focus.  The speed with which everything moved would explain why dead animals didn’t get eaten before being covered.  The different stages of the flooding and then the draining process would explain the geologic “periods”, different periods of erosion and sediment deposits as the waters found their new levels.  Snick.

So…the geologic record exists. Can’t argue that.  But what does it mean?  How did it come to be?  Evolution or God doin’ some good old-fashioned Old Testament Smiting?

Extra Large to Extra Small

Romans 1:19-21

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

How big is God? That’s a question we often ponder in blissful wonder.

We don’t often ask the opposite question, how small is God? The answer to both questions, as imprecise as it is, is the title today.  God goes from extra large to extra small.

I read a lot. I’m curious that way.  I also watch TV documentaries.  I recently saw one explaining the size of the universe.  I didn’t realize that galaxies have horizons.  That’s what the smart guys with really big telescopes are telling us.  Imagine a group of galaxies and whatever can be seen from anywhere in them.  Just as we can’t see past the horizon on Earth, the galactic view from any galaxy has a horizon.  Imagine further that there are multiple, perhaps infinite, galaxy clusters, each with their own horizons.

At this point I can only say Holy Cannoli! Just how large can God get that He made a universe so huge it has horizons going out millions of light years??

The correct answer? EXTRA LARGE!

I’ve also been reading a book about DNA, molecular functions, and electrical systems in our bodies. God made cells that can only be seen through microscopes.  Cell walls are permeable, but only through certain portals (the technical term evades me just now), and those are opened and closed by other chemical/electrical processes.  Simplified, but essentially accurate.

It simply seems that no matter how small we go, God got there first and has yet another, smaller level that runs the world we see. We’ve learned that through atomics as well; first atoms, then electrons, protons, and neutrons, then some energy that holds them together, then smaller particles yet.  It all begs the question, just how small IS God anyway?

The correct answer? EXTRA SMALL!

How do we know all of this? The correct answer is from today’s bible text:

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made

We’ve made tools, microscopes, telescopes, scientific procedures and tests, and this is what God placed here for us to discover. Just in case the Milky Way, nature, and even our bodies aren’t enough.

Evolution. Some have made an argument that it’s like expecting a car to somehow assemble itself from the pieces and parts in a junkyard.  Evolutionists say that’s a ridiculous analogy.  After some thought, I’d have to agree with them.  Evolution, if true, would be way harder than that!

I was a service writer at an automotive garage early on, and I can tell you that the complexity of our bodies and creation in general is infinitely more complex than a car! Yet they claim that evolution, mere chance and accident, produced everything we can see from extra large to extra small.  Why?

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

God. He’s extra large.  And on the way to extra small, He even counted the hairs on your head!

Giving up on God

1 Corinthians 1:17-19

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.  18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.  19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

This article appeared today in the Washington Examiner. It has the results of a Pew Research poll on the status of people’s faith and religious affiliations.

Not everyone has given up on God. Twenty percent of those who leave a church are simply leaving organized religion.  They still believe in God.  Half of that same group called it quits on church, God, miracles…everything.

According to Pew, “More and more people are junking religion and many are giving up on God.”

Forty nine percent who were raised in a religious household and have left religion cite “…science as the reason they do not believe in religious teachings…” Others reference the lack of common sense, logic, and evidence to support religion.

Some specific reasons why people gave up on God from the article:

  • Learning about evolution when I went away to collge
  • Too many Christians doing un-Christian things
  • Lack of any sort of scientific or specific evidence of a creator
  • I just believe that religion is a very personal thing between me and my creator
  • Religion has become a business. It’s all about the money

Science being one reason, you can see some articles I’ve written about the subject and why evolution doesn’t hold up. You can find them by date in my archives.

  • 05/08/14 Science and the Evolution Argument
  • 10/22/14 The Exodus Case Part One is the first of 6 articles summarizing the major archeological finds that appear to support a literal reading of the Book of Exodus

The website is – https://answersingenesis.org/ Their online bookstore is at this site and has many books on the science of creation.

Hopefully, this will give you a decent start in understanding scientific evidence that is misread and actually supports Creation!

Is Believing Evolutionary Creation Dangerous To Your Faith? — Naked Christian

I began battling arguments about evolutionary creation when I was in fourth grade. My grandmother believed in evolutionary creationism or theistic evolution. Dinosaurs

Modern science tells us that dinosaurs first appeared in the geologic record, namely the so-called Triassic period and flourished until their extinction about 66 million years ago.

Of course, if you’ve read my previous blogs, The Exodus Case Part 1 and Science and the Evolution Argument, you know that the geologic layers are explained very easily as layers put down during Noah’s Flood, and not billions of years.

So that means men and dinosaurs lived together. One might ask where the Bible stands on this and why aren’t dinosaurs discussed in the Bible. Answer #1: The Bible is God’s history of how He created the world, how mankind sinned, and how He redeemed us from our sins. Dinosaurs are not an integral part of that, so they don’t figure prominently. For example, I don’t think sharks are specifically mentioned in the bible. That’s not a refutation of sharks existing in any Biblical time period. They just didn’t figure directly in the story God mapped out as a matter of record.

Answer #2: There is one case where a dinosaur is described, although it isn’t named.

“Look at Behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength it has in its loins, what power in the muscles of its belly! 17 Its tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of its thighs are close-knit. 18 Its bones are tubes of bronze, its limbs like rods of iron. 19 It ranks first among the works of God, yet its Maker can approach it with his sword.”   Job 40:15-19

Some people try to say it describes an elephant or hippo simply because they can’t imagine a dinosaur existing alongside man. But read it carefully. Neither has a tail like a cedar. It’s vegetarian. It’s huge. It sounds very much like a brontosaurus.

There is the Bernifal cave in France, renowned for Neanderthal artifacts. Stone age man had a habit of drawing stuff on his cave walls. Guess what’s painted on the wall of this cave? Yup…a dinosaur-looking thing. Check it out: http://www.genesispark.com/exhibits/evidence/historical/ancient/dinosaur/

The article gives an overview of a number of instances of art showing dinosaur-type creatures, both more sophisticated art as well as cave drawings. There are bronze Persian pots with stylized spouts resembling dragons, which are modelled on…what? Dinosaurs?

There is a The Turkish painting, entitled “Procession of the Trade Corporation during the Festival of 1720 in Constantinople.” The bottom left corner has what looks like a mutli-headed sauropod. Multi-headedness is a condition known as polycephaly. While curious, it is hardly unknown among dinosaur reports.

Also according to the article, “…the Dayak peoples of Borneo and Sumatra produced multiple pieces of art depicting long-tailed, long-necked creatures with a head crest. Some of these animals resemble hadrosaurs.”

Chinese art is particularly known for its dragon depictions, but some of these do resemble dinosaurs. One in particular is a beaked dinosaur with a head crest. Again, from the article:

“A beautifully preserved beaked dinosaur mummy (Edmontosaurus) was discovered in Alberta, Canada in 2013. The specimen sported a fleshy crest atop its head (like a rooster). Researchers theorized that the hat-like ornament was brightly colored to allow for identification. This was the first non-bony crest discovered on a dinosaur. It closely matches the look of the Chinese beaked dragon.”

Want something closer to home? Try the drawing of the Anasazi Indians dating from 150 B.C. to 1200 A.D around what we now call Utah. More from the same article:

“One evolutionist writes, ‘There is a petroglyph in Natural Bridges National Monument that bears a startling resemblance to a dinosaur, specifically a Brontosaurus, with a long tail and neck, small head and all.’ (Barnes and Pendleton, Canyon Country Prehistoric Indians – Their Culture, Ruins, Artifacts and Rock Art, 1995.) Clearly a native warrior and an Apatosaur-like creature are depicted. Yet another Native American rock pictograph found in Utah seems to depict a sauropod dinosaur.”

Clearly, these pictures weren’t drawn by dinosaurs. Only people are known to have made such drawings in history. So, if dinosaurs were extinct millions of years before people ever showed up, how did these people draw such uncanny resemblances of dinosaurs? Answer: dinosaurs were around alongside mankind. Because the earth is not millions of years old. Only 6000, give or take. Men saw dinosaurs and dinosaurs saw men.

Yet again, there goes evolution, millions of years, etc. Back to the bible people.

Follow the link above to the entire article. It has a lot more detail than I offer here. As I always say when reporting interesting articles to you; look at it. Read it for yourself.
