ET’s Welcome?

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.   Matthew 24:24

Friendly AlienHumanity would welcome the discovery of ET despite fears of an alien invasion, predict psychologists: so trumpets a recent headline from The London Daily Mail.

This is despite warnings from scientists such as Professor Stephen Hawking who say we should ‘be wary’ about answering alien signals.

Hawking seems to be more aware of world history than most of the world. People who are so much as visited by other cultures normally find themselves the victims of disease from which they have no defense, let alone a society bent on conquest.

Those of us old enough to have witnessed the moon landing in 1969 recall how the astronauts were required to spend time in quarantine while being evaluated for possibly contagious, alien germs. One might argue that we have learned better since, but that requires forgetting recent claims to have found Martian microbes in meteorites.

But, for the Christian, how does one reconcile the idea of UFO’s and alien life with the Bible? Genesis tells us that God made the stars for telling times and seasons. The creation account tells us why the stars were made, and it doesn’t include other life and civilizations. Indeed, it is man’s sin that ruined creation, so we can deduce that creation and man are inextricably linked.

Moses records in Exodus 18:11 that “I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.” These were not wood or stone statues, but living entities who “behaved.” Who were they?

These were the fallen Watchers recorded in Genesis 6 just before the telling of The Flood. At some point they presented themselves as gods to mankind, leading us astray. I believe they are gradually returning in the guise of aliens, more enlightened races. The Roman Catholic church is preparing us for their arrival.

lucifer_project_21I give you the Vatican Observatory and their L.U.C.I.F.E.R. Device, an infrared range, binocular telescope for the purpose of photographing UFO’s, because they show up better in infrared. According to the authors of the article I read…

Indeed, the openness with which the Father discussed UFOs “…stunned us as we sat in the control room, listening to him…speak so casually of the redundancy with which UFOs are captured on screens darting through the heavens…we were shocked at this, how ordinary it seemed to be.”

They also had an interview with Jesuit priest, Guy Consolmagno. Guy often acts the Vatican’s spokesman. He is a leading astronomer and has “…worked at NASA and taught at Harvard and MIT…”

Bypassing all of the blah-blah-blah and cutting to the chase, Consolmagno shared with them a private article in pdf, “…in which he admits how contemporary societies will soon ‘look to The Aliens to be the Saviours of humankind.’”

Um…

They even went on to say that “Observatory director, Father Josè Funes who has gone equally far, suggesting that alien life not only exists in the universe and is ‘our brother’ but will, when manifested, confirm the ‘true’ faith of Christianity and the dominion of Rome.”

See my article It’s a Real Fight from June 2016.

I believe it’s all part of an overall plan to lead astray “even the elect.” We are being told that aliens are the good guys, that we are to accept them as our benefactors, which we should realize is quite a turn-around from science fiction a few decades ago. Now Hollywood is on board with the aliens-as-good-guys message.

arrival-poster-lgSee my review of Arrival from just last summer. In addition to aliens in white hats, the movie contains occult symbolism as well.

UFOs, aliens…it’s all real, quite hard to dismiss given the number of sightings and other evidence. The trick is knowing exactly what they are and whether rolling out the welcome mat is the smart play.

Don’t be deceived.
