Giants, Old Testament Slaughter, Greek Gods, Bigfoot, and Technology – Part 2

Moving on to another area; Greek Mythology. I always took the myths as an ancient culture’s efforts to explain their world.  But what if those Greek gods were real?  What if they were the fallen angels and/or their offspring, the Nephilim?  And what if this fact was not lost on the people of the bible?  We already know from the Bible that the god Apollo was actually Satan himself.

Revelation 9:11

“And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.”

In fact, the Cern Hadron Super Collider is built on the former site of the Temple of Apollo/Apollyon. And that will be another topic for later.

So Greek gods who were real and not mythical would give us a better understanding of this type of verbiage in the Bible:

Exodus 18:11

Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.”

Psalm 95:3

For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.

Psalm 96:4

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.

Psalm 97:9

For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

Psalm 135:5

For I know that the Lord is great, And our Lord is above all gods.

I had always interpreted that as the writers of the Bible referencing the false, non-existent gods of the Gentile nations. I believe now that they were referring to, shall we say, the “minor” gods, the fallen angels who set themselves up as gods.

This can be taken a step further to include the mythical centaurs, minotaurs, and satyrs (creatures with human torsos and arms and horse or goat bodies) like the Greek Pan or the Roman Faunus (today we use the terms flora and fauna to discuss the plants and animals of an area).  The argument on this runs that the fallen angels, not only warped the genes of humans but also of animals in their work to destroy pure human lines.  Remember that Satan’s whole purpose is to wreak havoc on and torment humanity as his vengeance on God.  These fallen angels, in these acts, would be doing just that.  Think of it as what today is considered – and maybe for not much longer –unethical bioengineering.  Think of what a tortured existence these hybrids would have lived!

When I first heard of this theory, I had real questions, as animal kinds are not supposed to be able to mingle with other kinds. Then I happened upon a headline from the London Financial Times: “Petri-dish magic cultivates a modern chimera.”  So it seems modern bio-engineers are well on the way with this.  I find it amazing how I come across one thing, then I just happen to cross an article that lends itself to the subject.  God.

So we can say that fallen angels worked in genetic engineering after a fashion. If they were engaging in “science”, are they also responsible for the technology man has acquired since ancient times?

The Book of Enoch, while not officially biblical canon, goes into some depth regarding the angels of God, who constituted a council of sorts with God. Furthermore, they were each assigned their own “territories” on earth.  Each had its own country/peoples.  Recall God declaring more than once that the Israelites were His people.

Fallen angels would, shall we say, mismanage their given inheritance. They would introduce the Nephilim, human/animal hybrids, and more.  The Book of Enoch describes the technology each fallen angel brought to their inheritance.  This list includes metal working, swords and weapons, and more.  Remember their mission is to damage mankind as much as possible, both to try to thwart the pure bloodline destined to produce Jesus and after His birth just as a matter of principal per their boss, Satan.

Next: UFO’s and aliens (Yeah, I know. Hear me out)

  1. I think part of what you are saying at least would fall into line with 1 Corinthians 10, when Paul talks about idols. Idols in and of themselves have no real existence, they are simply wood and gold carved by a human to reflect a part of the created order that they are worshipping, including themselves. Thinking of the Greek Pantheon, all of the deities all are simply human/natural attributes pushed to the extreme, like the God of War- Violence only for example. But what Paul says in this passage is that there is a very real spiritual existence behind the idols that wants to separate humanity from True Worship of God by worshipping that which is in the created order.

    • I’d have to agree with that. Whether it’s the Greek gods or the “lesser known” images people had in their homes, a shrine, it’s just 1 more demon working to lead you astray. When I twigged on to this theory that the Greek gods were actually fallen angels or Nephilim…real entities…it answered questions I had going back to childhood. Mostly, “Who made all of this up and based on what?” This, to me, answers that question. Plus, anything that shines a light on Satan’s activities against us, whether precisely so or not, is helpful. We have to keep our head on a swivel! Thank you very much for your feedback!!!!

      • Sure! I think the answer to where it all came from us, is simply our own heads and the world around us. Just like a fiction author creates new worlds, those worlds may be fantastical and amazing but as fantastic as they are they are still based within our reality and experiences. The dog might have 3 heads but it’s still a dog. That’s the beauty of Christian faith is that it really understands that God is truly wholly different than we are, than everything else, the difference between the eternal Creator who created out of nothing and the created who only mimic what we see.

Your ideas are important too!
